Unlikely as it seems, the cliffs in the background have equally colorful rocks. That dang haze and the light angles rob the Canyon of much splendor. Guess we have to get by on a lot of grandeur instead. This was not a particularly dangerous shot to get, though it did require me to get near the edge. Which led to something of an inspiration realized on the next page. |
