Good summary shot. Ak shows the scale nicely. A combination of pots, blades and smooth. Reasonable color. And particularly that weird effect of the light where things become sort of surreal and out-of-focus, though they are actually plenty sharp. This is not a bad representation of the overall 'feel' of the canyon. Oh: it was completely dry everywhere around so we didn't have to think about flash floods at all. But if they do come, anything inside is ground up by the walls and pebbles and rocks carried by the torrent -- often bodies don't exist any more, and no trace is ever found. I wonder if there's anyone buried in the cowpie quicksand? |
