In fact, if you go to the right end of the shelf and scale a fairly easy cliff, you can get a look at the next valley over. It's almost equally as spectacular as this one, but different. Clearly, the red member has not eroded as much. Some of the ledge surface is still white, and there's a pronounced dark streak that's largely missing in the central valley. |
