Zion is one of the more famous Utah national parks and one of the classic examples of Navajo Sandstone weathering. These are fine examples, but if you've been to Zion you're probably wondering "where are those?" This is the upper unit accessible casually from the freeway. Nobody goes there. Too easy and spectacular, I guess. It's called Kolob Canyons, and these are they. |
