The curious title reflects the 'scienfic' name of the giant Sequoia: Sequoiadendron Giganteum. Because of this species separation from the Coast Redwood (named Sequoia Sempervirens or 'everliving') the park has ended up with the wrong name. There are no Sequoia in the park. About the deer there is little to say. When two bucks wander up that close, I have to take the picture. |
