Here you actually can literally walk through the forest. The tunnel is almost big enough to let me comfortably stroll through at two inches under six feet.

Such tunnels are not overly rare, and tree caves are very common in both Giant and Coast redwoods. They do not have taproots but rather splay out a huge fan of enormous tendrils and support themselves as on a complex tripod. Much of their water is gained from mist and fog through their leaves, saving quite a bit of lifting.
