I know I should be more gracious. It was free. People worked hard to
put it together. But my very first Partner Program experience was the
Apple Museum, which you had to suffer if you wanted to go to the other
destinations. Good ones, too.
I spent most of the time outside shooting pictures, of which a few are
worthwhile. I did go in for the Big Talk, which ends in a pitch for an
apple peeler/corer/slicer. Apropos Ronco, but nice folks anyway.
The husband is American. I was disappointed a bit. Who wants to go to
Australia and see a museum run by an American? What you're looking at,
by the way, is an old apple drying kiln. The Huon Valley was pretty
much settled and established by the Apple Trade. The other unique
cool agricultural thang for Tasmania is honey. Quite good, both. And
Tasmanian apple juice -- unsweetened -- is the best.
