It was all about birds, but not all about shearwaters. About a dozen
penguins eventually showed up. It was surprisingly easy to get a 'show
shot' for the website. What I didn't get was one of them feeding two
of their young, which we only saw by red flashlight. Even at the
frenzy on Philip Island last year, Ak didn't get to see that. So you'd
have to say it was a successful evening.
