This was our first full day fourwheeling, out to Gemini Bridges. (My fault -- I had never seen it and was curious). It may have been our most technical four-wheel day. The trail starts up a ragged plate of Kayenta, then slides into a sandy valley where a turnoff leads to a box canyon ending with a formation called "The Bride." Of course, I had to get Ak and it in a shot. She looks a lot better now, and looked a lot better at the wedding. A close inspection will show the truck is starting to look more appropriately "Moab" (muddy) already. |
