Another opportunity presented itself just past midnight on October 14, with the Moon a few days past full. Everything always looks weird to me with the light 'from the other side.' Also, this has the usual refractor 'mirror image' side switching. I think the seeing was a bit better than for previous efforts, or it's just the increased elevation (third quarter Moons are pretty darn high that time of year). |
