Once we got back on the pavement, we headed to the ranger station to ask some questions about the road to Upheaval Bottom, from which we could make the easier approach. But we had also read about an assault from the top, so we scouted the terrain. It didn't look like a good plan. If you consider the walls you can see in the background, you might agree. |
