Other times the colors were more complex than any other canyon, while being very cool and pleasant. The 'cool' is in every way, incidentally. It was darn hot outside the canyon, but at the shaded floor it was just about perfect. We only saw three other people while in there. One we would see again the next day, a solo photographer with tripod etc, but a very nice person nevertheless. The other two were a pleasant camera-wielding Stanford graduate and a local Page woman who was an incredible resource. More on that later. |
