After attaining the rim again, we rode the bus back to the visitor's center, looked at some Really Good Displays for a while, then headed out to catch the sunset. This time we made for the more genial Yavapai Point, where I shot maybe 100 pictures, of which probably fifty are terrific. But I had to settle on one, and this is it. It's downcanyon into the haze, and you can see the smoke above the rim. |
