Shot from one of the high points in the park. That's a good chunk of the town with the end of the airport visible to the right -- it's on a table mesa. Whilst dining in one of the more exclusive St. George establishments (Applebee's) we overheard some of the residents discussing the general inferiority of the people of Hurricane, a nearby town. Since sneering seems to be kind of a tradition, we thought about indulging a little ourselves, but decided against it on principle. Besides, Hurricane has Sand Mountain and a happy community of T-Hawk flyers. So there. |
