No, Ak isn't about to turn into a giant bug. The rock wall is a spectacular example of metamorphic rock. I'm guessing it started as mudstone before the folding, but would be delighted to hear from a real geologist. We studied this for about a half hour, maybe longer. I took bunches of pictures. That's rockheads for you. |
