There are written instructions on how to get here. Once you arrive, there's a sign with 'Octopus Tree' in squiggly letters. And whaddya know, it's well named! Not far down a pretty easy trail on the midflanks of Mount Wellington.
          By now you've probably noticed that Tasmania is not necessarily all that long on fantastic natural wonders. I'll be the first to admit that's true, but holding it to account for this would be to miss the point.
