This is the first 'gonna go offroad' outing of our new Rav 4, another reason for the somewhat unseasonable trip. We couldn't wait to give it a tryout. It replaces the 4runner that served us okay, but really just caused too many problems. Also, it was a weak climber as far as the motor was concerned. We have never regretted the trade. The Rav is a less capable offroad machine, but that just makes it funnier that we've taken it to so many places. This picture set a tradition of taking 'tourist shots' of the Rav just about wherever it goes. Made it part of the family I guess. |
