Moon Shots


These are not good photos, they're my photos. This is not my best shot, it's my first shot.

There are plenty of people around with the skill, equipment and patience to shoot much better pictures. The only real point behind these shots is -- they're easy and cheap.

This one is shot with a Canon Elph S200 jammed into the eyecup of a 30mm Tak eyepiece. Infinite focus, auto exposure -2 compensated. It's taken through a Takahashi FS128, but I don't think that's an important factor. With a little ingenuity, you could probably do better with a six-inch dob.
