No closeups here. Bumped into this dangerous youngster on the same Big Basin hike as the previous lizard, but didn't want to get quite so close. Rumor has it the venom in the young ones is particularly potent. Probably not true, but you never know. Didn't want to find out, even if the rattle was quiet. |
