Bean Hollow on the San Mateo coast. This is not the big 'picnic' beach but a great tidepool and cliff area Ak discovered by accident. Incredible uptilted geology, too. I was not able to hypothesize a reasonable explantion for the weird formations and colorful soils. My first serious outing with the Canon S200 after the venerable Sony died at Loch Lomond. It was hot everywhere else, but pleasant at Bean Hollow on September 21 2003. |
