Anyway, we pulled into the Moab area pretty early, so we made our first "serious" fourwheelin' run at Klondike Bluffs. Ak remembered there were some dinosaur tracks there, and it was an excuse to try the 4runner out. The driving was a real kick (though a day later we would probablyhave considered it tame). One spot really worried us, but Ak slugged throughit like a champ, and we were off and running. Note the camber angles on the tires (the front is "in the air"). We thought this would look like "Woo!" but it was our first dose of how hard it is to make the road look as tough as it really was. |
