In some places landslides or boulders blocked the stream, and we had to do several traverses inside the crater. This was one of the easier ones, so I could rush ahead maniacally and stop to take photos of Ak as she negotiated the path. The climb was simple and you can see how aggressively she attacks it. But the descent was not; that's nearly vertical and just loose junk that slips out from under your feet. Some study was required. | |
