July 4, 2003 at the downtown San Jose fireworks show, which has always been magnificent. They do the best Bring Down The House Endings I've seen anywhere. Plus, San Jose is a city of extreme diversity from any slice angle: economic, cultural, racial, philosophical, name any. It's a kick when everybody clumps together and has fun in our own weird ways. |
